EAR CANDY & MyStudio have launched an interactive Battle of the Bands Competition for a chance to open up for Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers on Halloween at the Marquee Theatre!!!!

Beginning Monday, Sept. 21st, band contestants can enter to win by creating a music video at the MyStudio booth at Fashion Square Mall in Scottsdale (at Camelback Rd. and Scottsdale Rd. located in the heart of the shopping mall near the food court area). The cost to enter the competition is $20, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Ear Candy's after-school music programs and instrument donations.

Original music only. Individual artist submissions will not be accepted (band entries only).  Bands may also enter the contest for free by submitting a YouTube video to the following email address: info@EarCandyCharity.org.  Videos longer than 5 minutes will not be accepted.  All entries must be submitted by Oct. 11 to be eligible.

The TOP FOUR BANDS (picked by RCPM & Ear Candy Team) will be included in the RCPM Live Band Competition on Friday Oct. 23 at Sail Inn in Tempe.  Doors open at 7 p.m., music begins at 8 p.m.  The $10 cover will directly benefit Ear Candy's after-school music programs and instrument donations.  Bands will be notified by October 16 if they made it into the top 4 bands.

First Place:  Your Band will open for ROGER CLYNE & THE PEACEMAKERS at the Marquee Theatre on October 31, 2009.

Second Place: Your Band will perform at the Ear Candy Emerging Artist Series at the Hard Rock Cafe in Phoenix, Arizona on Friday, November 20, 2009 at 8:00 pm.

The Live Band Competition will be chosen by a combination of ticket sales, audience response and a panel of judges.
