Some AWESOME quotes about the event:

"Thank you so much for the Jonas Brothers Concert tickets. Julia and I had a great time at the concert. This was Julia's first concert and it was absolutely amazing...we loved it! It was such a fun time. Here are a few pictures of us at the concert. We really appreciate you donating the tickets."

"Jeana and I had a blast last night! She stood up dancing for most of the show and sang out loud with the rest of the fans. Attached is a picture of Jeana waiting for the opening act to take the stage. It was a beautiful night!"

A GREAT story about the Beyond the Classroom Experience:

Keri and Kimmie have been matched in Phoenix Youth at Risk’s PALS program for four months. Kimmie is an eight-year-old girl living with her mom and five older siblings in a small two-bedroom duplex in Central Phoenix. Kimmie and her family have lived in poverty and homelessness her entire life. In spite of the struggles Kimmie and her family endure, Kimmie is a bright, cheerful and happy little girl. She adores her mentor, Keri, who teaches Kindergarten at a local charter school. Together, Keri and Kimmie share new experiences, work on homework, create art projects, and participate in PALS activities.

Kimmie is a HUGE Jonas Brothers fan. As soon as Keri learned that Ear Candy had made tickets available to the upcoming Jonas Brothers concert, she immediately requested a pair for herself and Kimmie. She called Kimmie’s mom, Virginia, to ask permission to take Kimmie to her very first concert; Virginia, of couse, said yes. Later in the day, when Kimmie got home from school, Virginia encouraged her to call her mentor, not telling her about the concert. When Keri answered the phone, she told Kimmie they would be going to the Jonas Brothers concert. Keri heard silence.. “Kimmie? Kimmie?” Keri had no idea what was going on on the other end of the line! A moment later, Virgina came on the line, laughing. Kimmie had dropped her mom’s cell phone when she heard the news and had begun running and dancing around the living room and kitchen in excitement! Virginia was just grateful that Kimmie had called her mentor from inside the house and not outside on the concrete!

Kimmie had a great time at the concert, her very first. In her own words, “I could see the stage really good. I played in the grass and made new friends.” Her mentor bought her a souvenir poster which Kimmie proudly displays in her room. She also saved her ticket to show her friends at school, who did not believe her when she told them she was going to the concert. This concert was a dream come true for Kimmie!
